The General Feel
Two slow planets step into your sign in 2025, and Aries representatives will feel the year as a doorway rather than a road. Neptune enters Aries at the end of March and Saturn follows in May, both for the first time in decades, and both retreat into Pisces before December, so what you get is a preview. January and February are inward and slow. You want to move and your circumstances won’t support it, and pushing only tires you. Use these weeks to finish whatever has been dragging behind you. In the last days of March something cracks open and shows you a version of yourself you have avoided. You may not like it, but you will recognise it as true.
Spring is where the year finds its temperature. April gives you back some of your natural speed, although it comes with a fog around decisions. Don’t mistake enthusiasm for clarity. From June, with Jupiter moving into Cancer and the bottom of your chart, your attention turns to home and to the people who were there first, and many of you will move, renovate, or repair something old inside the family. Saturn slips backwards out of your sign in September and the closing months feel like a waiting room. What they ask of you is one thing only - patience.
The Greatest Challenges
The difficult part of 2025 is that your energy and your circumstances are out of step. Mars, your ruler, spends more than three months in Cancer, moving backwards until the last days of February, and this pulls your fire down into the house of family where it has nowhere to go. Arguments at home, old resentment toward a parent, tension over property or living arrangements are all possible in January and February. Frustration in these weeks is not proof that you chose wrong, only that the timing is not yours, and forcing it will cost more than waiting.
The Greatest Rewards
What you gain this year is rarely loud. The months between March and June take away several things you were carrying out of habit, obligations, opinions, an old picture of yourself, and the lightness that follows is real, even when it stings. Many Aries will find their taste changing, in work, in company, in how they spend a free evening, without being able to explain why. Trust it. September and October bring a clear head and a long run of progress, and the confidence that returns then is not borrowed from anybody.
Physiology and Body
Your head, your eyes and your teeth ask for attention as usual, but something more diffuse is at work in 2025. With Neptune touching your sign, sensitivity to alcohol, to medication, to sugar and to anything that dulls the edges is heightened, and doses that never bothered you may leave you flat. Fatigue with no obvious cause is the main complaint of this year. Have your iron and thyroid checked in spring rather than waiting until you cannot function. Sleep is the medicine here, more than exercise, though moving a little every day keeps restlessness from becoming inflammation. In September watch your gut, which reacts to stress long before your mind admits there is any. Water, warmth and early nights sound too simple to matter. They are the whole prescription.
Love and Family
Family takes up more room this year than romance does, and for once you should let it. Mars sits at the bottom of your chart through winter and into April, bringing the urge to protect your people and a shorter fuse with them than you would care to admit. Something unresolved with your mother, or with the house you grew up in, surfaces in February and asks to be spoken about. From June onwards it gets easier. The atmosphere at home softens and the door opens to expansion, a child, a bigger place, a relative walking back in after years of distance.
For couples, spring is delicate. Venus turns retrograde in your sign at the beginning of March and moves backwards for six weeks, and in that period you will be read wrongly, with the temptation to reopen a chapter with somebody from your past. Reopening it will teach you something. It will not give you what you are hoping for. Single Aries have their best moments in late April and again in October, when your own company feels good enough that you stop performing. Say what you actually want out loud, even when it is inconvenient.
Work and Finances
Money is steadier than it feels, but the shape of your work is changing underneath you. From January to May your income is tied to talking, writing, teaching, small deals and short trips, and the more of these you take the better your spring goes. Something ends around June, a contract, a role, or your patience with one arrangement, and it will look worse than it is. Don’t sign anything important in late March, and be careful all year with money lent to friends. Autumn is the season to negotiate, to ask for the raise or restructure the debt. What you build in the last quarter is what you stand on when Saturn returns to your sign to stay.
