Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise
Born to middle class parents you wouldn't expect Tom Cruise to become one of Hollywood's highest paid and bankable leading men as "one of the most powerful and richest forces in Hollywood." Cruise is one of the few producers who can guarantee the success of a billion-dollar film franchise. At 18, with his parents' blessing, he moved to New York City to pursue acting, and within three years, he moved from bit parts and supporting roles to starring in his breakout film Risky Business in 1983 and cementing his superstar status in his 1986 film, Top Gun. With a 40-year career of critical and commercial success, nothing seems to stop Tom Cruise.
We don't have Cruise's birth time, so we can't match his planets to the all-important angles of the horoscope chart. However, the movie star's chart shows a stunning arrangement of planets. First is a Grand Trine of water planets involving his sun in Cancer, Neptune, the planet of illusion, in Scorpio, and expansive Jupiter in the chameleon-like sign of Pisces. All of this pliability gives him the ability to assume and breathe life into a fictional character. His planet of communication, Mercury, in a challenging (square) aspect to Jupiter hints at his problem with dyslexia, but a friendly (sextile) aspect to Uranus, the higher octave of Mercury, shows a lightning-smart intelligence he uses to compensate. His moon, the planet of emotions, in royal Leo, and the planet of his value systems, Venus, in that sign also demonstrate a need for the adoration of others, which the movie-going public is all too eager to give.
